Hosted Solution Suite provides ASP access to mortgage lending technology for small and medium size lenders, reducing upfront costs and IT demands while providing complete access to remote users
San Francisco, May 2, 2005 – Del Mar Database has released its Hosted Solution Suite, providing application service provider (ASP) access to its entire product line. The Hosted Solutions are designed for lenders requiring centralized data access for remote users, having limited IT resources, preferring lower upfront costs and seeking extremely rapid implementation. Del Mar Database announced the new offering at MBA’s National Secondary Marketing Conference.
The Hosted Solutions provide clients the option to lower upfront costs by eliminating the initial license fee, requiring only implementation and training costs to start service. The solution reduces demand on in-house IT resources since Del Mar Database performs all product maintenance and upgrades. Using secure data transmission, the Hosted Solution works seamlessly in a remote environment, reducing IT support needed for remote offices. Other mortgage banking applications, such as point-of-sale and document preparation solutions, can also be hosted by Del Mar Database, eliminating an even larger portion of a lender’s in-house IT needs. The ASP model allows lenders to concentrate on their core business of mortgage banking, rather then managing IT.

The Hosted Solution Suite offers flexible pricing and is available in two models. In the subscription model, lenders rent the software and hosting fees are bundled into the monthly rent. In the licensed model, lenders pay the upfront license fee and then pay monthly hosting charges. Both models utilize the exact same user interface and functionality as self-hosted products with no decrease in performance. All Del Mar Database products are available, including DataTrac®, AutoPrice, DocumentTrac™, WebTrac® Pro and GuideTrac™. All applications are stored at a network operations center designed specifically for the mortgage industry, and data is protected with redundant access, uninterruptible power, and disaster recovery.
