SAN DIEGO, Dec. 19, 2005 - Del Mar Database has released SupportTrac, an online service portal for Del Mar Database customers, and TracTalk, an online user forum within SupportTrac. SupportTrac enables customers to contact the company directly with questions, problems and requests for enhancements, and provides access to download product updates, an extensive knowledgebase resource center and a documentation library. It also includes TracTalk, a Web forum where Del Mar Database customers can interact, sharing ideas and solutions on any mortgage banking topic.
"One of the reasons that we continue to grow so much faster than any other LOS vendor is our understanding of our clients' businesses," said Rob Katz, vice president of Del Mar Database. SupportTrac and TracTalk will enable Del Mar Database to even better understand our customers' needs and respond quickly to their concerns. "Additionally, these new support services provide our customers the opportunity to collaborate and communicate directly with fellow DataTrac users around the country. Del Mar Database has one of the largest - and clearly the fastest growing - user communities of any core mortgage banking vendor. These solutions help our clients take advantage of their enormous collective knowledge pool. Customers now have the ability to post questions and comments and then receive feedback from other customers as well as from Del Mar Database experts, thus generating valuable dialogue and information exchange they otherwise would not be able to have. "
Del Mar Database customers may contact the support desk by telephone, e-mail or via SupportTrac. Del Mar Database monitors its response time to each question, and allows customers to track the status of modification requests, future updates and training sessions.
TracTalk is an online message board provided exclusively to Del Mar Database customers where they may discuss products and best practices, exchange ideas and share opinions. While TracTalk is primarily a service to the user community, Del Mar Database moderates and monitors TracTalk for feedback to guide future product development efforts.
"Del Mar Database's outstanding attention to and insistence upon customer satisfaction, as evidenced by the new support features, really sets it apart from other software providers," said Lisa Husbands, program management coordinator at Academy Mortgage Corporation of Salt Lake City. "The new SupportTrac and TracTalk modules from Del Mar Database further demonstrate its commitment to not only learn from its customers, but encourage its customers to learn from one another based on individual experience. This unique, collaborative approach is one that complements Del Mar Database's implementation and training services. Because the support team is comprised of mortgage professionals that have extensive knowledge of both mortgage lending and technology, a comprehensive solution to most any question is guaranteed."
