Over the last two years, we have done more to enhance our core applications—DataTrac® and WebTrac®—than in the entire 14-year history of Del Mar Database. We rebuilt WebTrac entirely and we are well on our way to completing a rebuild of DataTrac. Not only have we added significant functionality to both products, but we’re also responding more quickly to your needs for additional features in the future.

We’ve also introduced six new products and services in the last two years. In 2004, we rolled out DocumentTrac™, GuideTrac™, and professional services, and this year we’ve introduced CommissionTrac™, BusinessTrac™, and QuickClose™. Our products are designed to meet the unique needs of the small-to-medium size mortgage lenders, and by offering these products and services as add-on modules, we are able to keep the cost of our core solution low. You can then license the specific add-on products and services that will help your business grow.
Our commitment is to continue extending our product lines with features that will help you increase your profitability as a mortgage lender. We are also committed to remaining a “best-of-breed” solution, giving you the choice to select the best applications for your specific business. We understand that there may be cases where you may want to use either a “home-grown” application or a product purchased from another vendor to extend the value of DataTrac. When we identify third-party products that are used by a high percentage of our clients, we put energy into building better integrations. Since we are committed to growing your business, if you choose to work with other vendors, we allow you to build your own integration, allow the other vendor to build an integration, or we can even build a custom integration for you through our professional services team.

The success of the 8.0 release is only the beginning of what we plan to bring you in the near future. Over the next several months we will launch several additional enhancements.
Universal Import
In our next release we will be significantly upgrading and enhancing the imports and data exchanges between POS applications and DataTrac. The Universal Import will be compliant with MISMO standards and also provide complete stage-level security. It will combine the flexibility and security of the existing DataTrac standard import with the completeness of the DataTrac enhanced import. The import will apply to a wide variety of POS systems.
GreatDocs™—Document Management
In the next release we will integrate GreatDocs into DataTrac. GreatDocs will provide Del Mar Database clients with an alternative to document vendors for clients who are willing to manage their own disclosure and closing documents compliance. In addition, DataTrac will leverage GreatDoc’s 1003, 1008 and MCAW to provide all of our clients access to these forms at no cost.
AutoPrice™
We will be making some substantial enhancements to AutoPrice. First, AutoPrice will support adjustments to both the price and the rate. In addition, the system will support complex adjustments based on multiple parameters. These changes will enable DataTrac clients to use AutoPrice on Alt-A and non-prime loan products—leveraging this module to provide originators with both improved service through and accurate and immediate pricing.
We will continue to enhance the integration of GuideTrac with both DataTrac and AutoPrice, allowing originators to easily, accurately, and quickly find eligible products for their borrowers in GuideTrac. Originators will also be able to immediately compare pricing for those loan programs and select the product that best matches their client’s needs.
Vendor Services Platform
The initial set of our Vendor Services Platform (VSP), as part of the 8.0 release, includes Freddie Mac, DocMagic®, and a HMDA rate spread calculator. We will continue to expand the services that can be accessed through Del Mar Database’s VSP. This vendor integration platform will not only allow clients to directly order services from DataTrac, but it will also integrate the resulting data set back into the DataTrac product suite. DataTrac clients will be able to fund more loans more quickly with fewer errors. Following is a list of the services that follow shortly after the 8.0 release:

Finally, we are working on a complete replacement of TracTools with a real SDK (software developer’s kit). We are starting to integrate workflow into our solutions to allow you to better proactively manage your business processes.
