Software Engineer

Job Role: 
As a Software Engineer at Del Mar DataTrac, you’ll play a critical role in implementing and delivering enterprise-level solutions. You’ll work in a small but visible team collaborating closely with business analysts to implement product requirements & specifications.

You will be responsible for creating data extracts and reports using both our C#/.NET based proprietary application frameworks as well as popular reporting tools, such as Crystal Reports and SSRS.  You must have recent and demonstrable experience creating custom data extracts/reports, building applications using C#/.NET and SQL Server and a willingness to learn.

Job Outline:
  • 1 to 3 years of C#/.NET production software development experience
  • Experience with reporting tools (Crystal Reports, SSRS)
  • Strong SQL Server and database skills
  • Knowledge of object oriented programming principles
  • Team player, able to pick up new technologies, self-motivated
  • Experience with ASP.NET and DotNetNuke is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Director/Manager:  No direct reports (at the time of hire).
Lead:  Not a team lead position (at the time of hire).
Travel: Travel not typical for this position.

Peers: Will work very closely with the Product & Engineering Teams. 

Technology Skill Level:
  High.  This position is a technology role with heavy interaction with the technical team.  Technology skill sets are required as stated above in the Job Outline section.

Mortgage Industry Knowledge Level:
  Low.  This position requires light interaction with people in the mortgage industry.  The role will be responsible for comprehending basic mortgage-industry client needs, some industry terms, and product requirements.
